An
innovative work/life framework created by Siusan Mackenzie & Marie
Crozier-Durham will ensure that strategy is central to the work/life effort.
Research
suggests that successful work/life planning and implementation requires the
active support of the CEO and line managers, significant culture change as well
as meaningful (to the particular workplace) policies and practices which can
demonstrate value to individuals and to the organisation.
Siusan
MacKenzie and Marie Crozier-Durham have developed a strategic and effective process
that helps organisational decision-makers focus on the key issues when making
important decisions about the appropriate approach to work/life for their
organisation and their people.
The Work Life Value Matrix is shown below with
its four major elements.

Work Life Value Matrix
What
makes the Work Life Value Matrix unique is that it draws together all aspects
of organisational strategy by summarising the key aspects of the work life
environment, identifying the major and most appropriate work life options,
allocating responsibilities, resources and accountabilities, and demonstrating
value.
The
Work Life Value Matrix informs our consulting approaches and the content of
tailored work/life planning workshops and managers’ coaching sessions.
